Terms and Conditions

BioNext Participant Agreement

Welcome to the BioNext Incubator. This Agreement describes the terms and understanding between BioNext Participants and BioNext, along with its management, staff, Western Research Parks, and The University of Western Ontario.

1. Media Release: The BioNext Incubator may hold events that involve recordings, including photos, videos, and/or sound recordings. All Participants grant to BioNext, Western Research Parks, and The University of Western Ontario, the right to use, reproduce, distribute and broadcast such images, videos, or sound recordings, including your name and affiliation, for promoting, publicizing or explaining the BioNext Incubator, its activities, and for administrative, educational or research purposes.

2. Information Sharing: BioNext Participants agree that their name, affiliation and a brief nonconfidential description of their company may be used by the Incubator, Western Research Parks, and The University of Western Ontario in program announcements and promotions. Participants also agree that information gathered by BioNext may be shared with partner organizations (University, Hospitals, entrepreneurship programs, etc.) and mentors.

3. Professional Conduct: Participants agree to demonstrate professional behaviour and respect for all staff, other Participants, and visitors at all times. BioNext reserves the right to remove any individual who fails to uphold professional etiquette or violates safety protocols.

4. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure: All Participants, either individuals or companies, acknowledge that by participating in BioNext programs, they may become aware of certain projects, ideas, inventions or other plans and concepts by other Participants, researchers or clinicians. In order to have a vibrant entrepreneurial milieu, it is important that all BioNext participants treat such information as confidential. All participants pledge to keep such information confidential and may be asked to sign additional standard confidentiality agreements for this purpose.
