Most medical innovations stall between concept and clinic — BioNext exists to close that gap. We work with founders at the earliest, most uncertain stages, offering hands-on access to the full development stack: dedicated incubator space, in-house 3D printing and fabrication tools, and deep clinical and commercial networks. BioNext does not provide direct funding, but our staff and mentors can help you navigate financial planning and find the right opportunities no matter what stage you're at. We also offer workshops and maintain a curated list of programs at Western and in the broader community that offer prize money and direct funding to help you grow and scale.

There are no costs to become a BioNext client. We start with an intake form and meeting to understand your needs and figure out how BioNext can best support you at your current stage. Access to our makerspace and office space is available to active clients who are making progress on their venture.
